Jagacinski Co-Authors Article on Human-Automation Interaction

A recent issue of Ergonomics In Design features an article co-written by Dr. Richard Jagacinski, professor in Ohio State's Cognitive Psychology program and member of the Institute.

The article, Human-Automation Interaction Research: Past, Present, and Future, offers various perspectives on sustaining future human performance with automation. It provides a brief history of research in this area, as well as theories on how automation impacts cognitive performance.  This article also provides insights as to what the future holds for interactions between humans and automated systems.
