Public Health Faculty Retirements
In May, 2013, Ohio State's College of Public Health celebrated the retirement of two faculty, who also were members of the Institute for Ergonomics. Dr. Jay Wilkins has been with the university since 1978. For the past 20 years, his research has focused on agricultural safety and health. He will now become professor emeritis with the College.
Dr. Mac Crawford was hired into his environmental health faculty position in 2003. He has worked on numerous occupational health research projects, including hearing loss among Ohio farm youth, recommendations for youth who work with large animals, and occupational factors and reproductive outcomes among female
