As a neurosurgeon, I specialize in complex deformity and reconstructive spine surgery, adult scoliosis, cervical myelopathy, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, and spinal stenosis. I also perform minimally invasive (MIS) spine surgery with an emphasis on minimizing tissue disruption, hospital stay, and recovery time after surgery.

I am actively involved in several research projects focused on improving patient outcomes and patient care for those who undergo spine surgery. I also am involved in educating residents and medical students, and was selected as the “teacher of the year” in the neurosurgery department at The Ohio State University. On football gameday, I also cover The Ohio State University football team to provide care for players suffering from head and spine injuries.

In my freetime, I enjoy being physically active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
